Instructions for moving the Photogize Lab and RasterPlus to a new PC
These Do It Yourself instructions are as complete and accurate as possible but carry no warranties or guarantees since each situation may have unique and unforeseen issues.

Important: if you are using Photogize Lab version 5, download the version 5 installer. If you are using Photogize Lab version 6, download the version 6 installer.
Click on Save when the dialog box is displayed then run the install from the saved location.
Photogize Lab Notes
NOTE: For Windows7 or above
1) All references to the folder name "C:\Program Files" will be "C:\Program Files (x86)"
2) Programs must be set to "Run as administrator"
ON THE OLD LAB:
- Copy ALL of the files with the ".NOD" extension from C:\Program Files\Graphx\PhotogizeLab to a network folder or a USB Key.
- Copy the folder in named in the Photo Storage field in the Tools....Options General tab to a network folder or a USB Key.
ON THE NEW PC:
- Installed Photogize Lab
- Copy the ".NOD" files from the network folder or a USB Key to C:\Program Files\Graphx\PhotogizeLab on the new pc
- Copy the Photo Storage folder from the network folder or a USB Key to the same location on the new PC.
- Start Photogize Lab
- After confirming that your Photogize Lab is running correctly go to the License Manger on the Old PC. Click Remove.
- Record this code and send it along with your serial number requesting activation on the New PC.
RasterPlus Notes
NOTE: For Windows7 or above all references to the folder name "C:\Program Files" will be "C:\Program Files (x86)"
ON THE OLD PC
- Run the Program REGEDIT.
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Graphx/RasterPlus
- Select the key that is the name of your printer.
- Click on the File menu and then click on Export.
- Save the file created by Export to a network folder or a USB Key.
- If you have PackagePlus installed - Copy the ini files for all appropriate devices from C:\Program Files\Graphx\RasterPlus\{Device Manufacturer} to a network folder or a USB Key.
ON THE NEW PC
- Install RasterPlus

NOTE: If you are moving to Windows7 or Vista from XP, prior to running REGEDIT, you will need to modify the file created by the Export from the REGEDit on the original PC as follows:
- Go to the location on the network folder or a USB Key and select the file created by the Export and Open the file with a Notepad or Wordpad.
- Using Edit Replace change all references to "\\Program Files\\Graphx" to be "\\Program Files (x86)\\Graphx"
- Using Edit Replace change all references to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Graphx\" to be "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Graphx\"
- Save the modified file to a network folder or a USB Key using a different name than the original file.
- This modified file should be used in Step 5 below.
- Run the Program REGEDIT.
- Click on the File menu and then click on Import.
- Go to the location on the network folder or a USB Key and select the file created by the Export. This will create the information associated with your printer
- If you have PackagePlus - Copy the ini files from the network folder or a USB Key to C:\Program Files\Graphx\RasterPlus\{Device Manufacturer}
- Start RasterPlus
- Click on the Printer menu
- Click on New
- Select you printer from the list presented.
- Click OK. Your printer queue should be created with all your defined media and settings.
- After confirming that your RasterPplus is running correctly go to the License Manger on the Old PC. Click Remove.
- Record this code and send it along with your serial number requesting activation on the New PC.
