The PhotoCentral Basic Print Order page and the Photogize PrintWizard each give indications as to whether uploaded photos will produce acceptable printed output. PhotoCentral uses the following rules to make this determination:
If the maximum dimension of the target product is 7 inches or less (e.g. a 5x7 print), photos must be at least 150 dpi to be considered acceptable.
If the maximum dimension of the target product is more than 7 inches (e.g. an 8x10 print), photos must be at least 128 dpi to be considered acceptable.
For example, if the target product is a 4x6 print, the smallest photo that will produce an acceptable print is 600 pixels high by 900 pixels wide.
