Kiosk and PhotoCentral recognize CloudCover template updates in different ways.
PhotoCentral looks at the date of a template and, if the template is newer than the one we currently have in the cache or in a project, we flush the cache/project data and use the new template. To be certain you see a new template, you should close the browser and reload.
Kiosk relies on the “created” date in the template record to determine if i needs to download a new template. If you change the template, be sure to advance the “created” date in RetailerCentral. It’s OK to “post-date” the template, i.e.: make it tomorrow, or the day after. It’s just important to have a newer “created" date. To make sure that kiosk gets all the latest templates, close kiosk and re-launch it. If you don’t do this, kiosk will eventually get the new template (sometime in the next 24 hours), but closing and re-opening forces the kiosk to make sure all content is updated (this is one of the reasons kiosk launch times can be sort of long).
