The Noritus CT Folder interface in RasterPlus allows you to use the Noritsu PJP function to process images printed through RasterPlus. RasterPlus will send the images to a folder that can be accessed from the Noritsu and printed through the standard Noritsu PJP process.
Some things to consider when using the CT Folder interface from RasterPlus.
RasterPlus will resize the image to the output size select. The image sizing will depend on the Media Size and Sizing option selected, "Crop" or "Fit".
Crop - fill the selected output size, e.g. 4x6, with no white space
Fit - display the entire image as submitted which may result in white space.
If you are doing additional editting while using PJP the image may be resized again by the Noritsu functions.
An option in RasterPlus, "Print Bitmap at Native Resolution", allows you to send the image directly to the CT Folder. This option will copy the file directly to the CT Folder as it is submitted to RasterPlus.
NOTE: Do not use the "Print Bitmap at Native Resolution" with the QSS interface. QSS will NOT properly reize the image before printing.
If you are using Photogize Lab to send images to RasterPlus and you are performing additional editting using PJP, you may want to select "Fit" as your default sizing option for you Photogize Lab products. This option, along with the RasterPlus "Print Bitmap at Native Resolution" option will send the originally submitted image with none of the image "cropped". This will provide you with the greatest flexibility when printing a customers image.
