How do I correct the Create Folder Error when printing?
The error indicates that an attempt was made to create the destination folder but it failed. This error generally occurs when using a Lab Direct printer printing to a mapped drive but may also occur if the specified location has been removed.
The following errors message or error messages with similar text will be displayed in the print dialog box.
Folder = "Name of the location that was not accessible"
Print Failed - Error Creating Order Folder("Error Number")
Do the following:
Open "MyComputer"
Navigate to to the location specified in the "Folder =" error message.
If this is a mapped location the location is most likely marked with a RED X indicating that the mapped location was not accessible.
Click on the appropriate drive letter specified in the "Folder =" error message..
If it is a mapped drive you may be prompted for a password to access PC where the mapped location exists.
If the specified location doesn't exist it will have to be recreated.
After you have recreated or navigated to the specified location resubmit the order that had the failed print.
